Austin Cass was our RN who take extraordinary care of our loving mother who eventually was taken off life support and passed away. He was caring for her on a regular basis and he did an amazing job at not only caring for her, but also for us. He let us know when doctors were coming so we could have the right people in the right room at the right time, and he constantly checked on my mother and us. He gave us comfort during a tragic time. He was with us the entire time including when my mother took her last breath. He comforted us, understood us, and honestly - he was our lifeline. He grounded us when we were losing control of our emotions. I personally work in the medical field, in a medical affairs and quality office, I know what QUALITY care should look like be like and Austin defined this. If I could use just one word to define him, it would be exemplary. No, extraordinary, no, honestly, there simply are no words that could sum up how grateful we are to him. His care was so amazing we are speechless to define it.
