Austin epitomized compassionate CARE. He constantly checked on my status as a person vs. an i.d. number. He kept me up to date on every phase of my post op care following pacemaker implantation. He ensured that I understood the processes including my medical status, and what I needed in order to be discharged. He not only asked if I had questions but anticipated and answered questions that I didn't know to ask. He did NOT rush me or leave until he was sure I was comfortable. When a visit from my physician was the last thing needed, and he was delayed, Austin provided frequent updates on the estimated time of my physician's post-op visit, and offered items that he thought would make me even more comfortable as I waited. He made me feel special. He made me feel like he was genuinely concerned for my well-being. He personally escorted my husband to the exterior of the building to ensure he understood where to drive to pick me up. He carefully rolled me to the exit and ensured that I was safely in my vehicle. Austin was absolutely AMAZING!!!
