I was eating dinner at Fathom in Afton, and my 9-month-old son began to choke on a strawberry. My husband was calling 911 as I began doing back thrusts on my son. Autumn immediately recognized what was happening and ran over to assist. She was so calming and reassuring in the SCARIEST time of my life. She encouraged me, observed my son's mouth, and let me know what she was seeing. Her whole energy was calming, and it really had me focused on what I was doing. Once my son finally began to cry after the strawberry piece was dislodged, I felt her relief with me. She told me I did a good job. And she even told my husband when he came back in that I did a good job. I don’t know if my son would be alive today if she hadn’t been there. Thank you, Autumn, for being there for me and my family in the scariest time of my life.
