Autumn was nominated by the daughter (an RN) of a patient. "Autumn was a blessing for my mother to have for a nurse. She is extremely porfessional and is able to proritize her nursing care from a clinical standpoint and still meet what the patient feels is important. Autum showed so much patience and compassion with every turn or body adjustment. She makes her patients feel like they are her only priority. Autumn possesses high clinical and people skills. I hope she is recognized for her committment to her patients."
Autumn's mother, stepfather, grandparents and sister all attended the surprise DAISY presentation on the unit. The nurses station was full of Autumn's co-workers cheering for her.
