The patient was admitted on the 6th floor with a host of medical issues. The morning Auydith was on duty, the patient was extremely restless and uncomfortable and began to vomit. Auydith seemed to become totally engaged and concerned that something was different about the patient's health. She took control and called for help and got the doctor in the room immediately. The patient's condition went from bad to worse. Auydith's knowledge, expertise coupled with such love and compassion for a stranger made the patient family member cry. They had never witnessed such care in their life.
Auydith deserves a DAISY Award. Blessed are those that are fortunate to work alongside her. A spirit of excellence and leadership at its best during the time the patient was in the hospital. There was team of several medical personnel in the patient's room later on the same day that displayed such unity and oneness; it left the family member in amazement. The level of care this unit provides is beyond outstanding. God is strategic in how He orchestrates our steps. The patient is one of Gods servants and He sends His best to care for him.
