From day one, Ava took care of me when I was admitted to the floor for an emergency left lumbar laminectomy and microdiscectomy. I was in a lot of pain, and Ava continuously cared for me and made me comfortable. She reassured me, provided information about my procedure, and comforted me by letting me know I had one of the best spine doctors, who turned out to be the best; my procedure was perfect. I’m not in severe pain, and I go home today. I just want to express my gratitude for Ava's passion in caring, always wearing a shiny smile on her face, which reflects the wonders of her soul. I am thankful that North Shore has Ava to help your patients. Thank you. I was at Skokie because I had a very bad fall and needed surgery. Ava was the nurse I had after my surgery, and she was exactly the right nurse I needed. She is kind, caring, and calm, which is precisely what I and other patients need. I'd give her 1,000 stars.
