Aviana Hernandez, BSN, RN

Aviana is the kind of nurse that every patient wishes they could have as their nurse. She is kind, patient, and hardworking. She shows empathy and professionalism at a rate that makes her a one-of-a-kind nurse - one that makes me say that I am proud to call her a coworker. 

I am a sitter, and we had an extremely difficult patient. It seemed like Aviana was in his room all night tending to his needs. Her bedside manner was second to none. He would not listen to me, but Aviana spoke to him in a calm voice, making him feel like he was her only patient. 

I noticed her running around attending to her other patients, but always coming when he called her. She was asked by the CNA if she could relieve me for my lunch break and she readily agreed. 

Aviana is the kind of nurse that Banner would be proud to tell the world that all of their nurses are like, which makes Banner the number one hospital in Arizona. If ever something happens to me and I have to be hospitalized, I pray that I get a nurse like Aviana.
