Avril Cummings, RN

During January Avril was our only team leader within the school nursing team. Avril led her team and the 3 other school nursing teams with compassion. Avril balanced a clinical caseload alongside inducting new staff, supporting team members with complex safeguarding matters, allocating cases, listening to school concerns, and empowering team members to support children, young people, and families to manage challenging situations. Avril embodies the trust values, and always treats everyone with respect, kindness, and compassion. Avril advocates for both families and team members. Avril is an outstanding member of the school nursing team.
