Aya is a caring and knowledgeable nurse who has proven herself clinically over the years gaining the trust of her colleagues, manager, and physicians. Her knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm make her stand out from the group and shine. She is a keen observer of the patient and unit environment, always making sure to ensure patient safety and comfort.

She is the secretary of the Work Life Council, and she leads all job enjoyment projects in her unit. When the unit is in crisis, she is the right person to be on duty to minimize stress and spread positivity. Aya is the PICU pain champion; she always advocates for patients’ comfort and satisfaction, supports her patients and their families, gives them hope, and tries to put them at ease.
