October 2025 Honoree
Ayan Mohamed, RN
I have been in the hospital once a month for the last 15 months. I have had multiple nurses, and most of them would just come in and out, but on Sunday night, I got Ayan for my nurse, and she was absolutely amazing.
I have had a lot of pain with the multiple surgeries I have had, and the multiple infections, and Ayan was absolutely on top of my pain, and she constantly went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. She was also kind and took the time to talk to me. Ayan was so sweet, and she really made me feel like a person, not just part of her job.
Nurses like her should know how much the little acts of kindness mean to people.
