Ayano always displays such care and compassion for the patients she serves. She has a special way about her that brings peace and grace into the presence of patients and staff in every interaction I have seen her in. Ayano has been caring for a patient who is on comfort care, receiving hourly IVP medications for agitation and pain. Every time I (PC RN Manager) went to see the patient to see if his symptoms were managed and visit with family for support, Ayano was at this patient's bedside, providing compassion and assessment to ensure the patient remained comfortable. Ayano was also very proactive in ensuring the patient's medications were either increased to provide comfort or changed, as the patient was transferring to a Board n Care in the am and needed his medications changed from IV to Sublingual and topical.

Ayano provided this PC RN updates in a very timely manner, with excellent collaboration to ensure this patient was not in distress and ensuring we were doing all that could be. Ayano provided Radical Loving care to this gentleman and his family in every way, by demonstrating excellent nursing assessment, proactive pain and symptom management, excellent collaboration with the MD for timely needed orders, and especially compassion, grace, and love to the patient and his wife, daughters, and the patient's sister.
