Our 70-year-old mother was admitted to the gynecology and obstetrics department for 10 days. Nurse Ayesha Masoud Al Hammadi was there, working tirelessly, and hard, helping us and our mum understand the plan of care. She explained things to us patiently, sometimes more than once, until we understood. The comfort of our mother was of paramount importance to her. We were looking forward every day to seeing Aisha. Obviously, she cared deeply about my mother. Aisha has become like family to us. I wanted to hug her before leaving and saying goodbye. Every day her knowledge and skills were evident.
