He truly made us feel so comfortable and my father extremely well taken care of. He was knowledgeable and remembered my dad's case from October, which is truly impressive considering how many patients he has likely seen since we were here in October.
Ayrton Tagau was our nurse in October and again on 12/9-12/20. He is to be commended for his outstanding bedside manner and compassion. He truly made us feel so comfortable and my father extremely well taken care of. He was knowledgeable and remembered my dad's case from October, which is truly impressive considering how many patients he has likely seen since we were here in October. My father's platelet count was low which made him bleed easily. His IV continued to fill with blood, and even though the IV was still functioning, it caused a bit of anxiety for my dad, so he carefully changed the IV dressing. He was so cautious to not cause any pain and something as simple as changing the IV dressing brought my dad so much comfort. Ayrton was also our nurse at discharge and was so great! My dad was a little anxious about leaving and Ayrton was patient and even helped us ensure that his prescriptions were called into a pharmacy that had his prescriptions in stock. This took us calling 4 pharmacies to finally find one, but we did, and he made sure that was the pharmacy that was used. Thank you, Ayrton for all you do for our patients, but especially for the care you took with my dad!
