I would like to recognize nurse Bailey Baird in the surgical recovery unit for going above and beyond. Coming out of anesthesia, I couldn’t stop vomiting. She did everything that she could think of to try to help me. Many phone calls were made, medicines looked up, and consultations with colleagues were had. This has happened to me before, and I’ve never had someone work so hard to help me. I truly felt that she cared for me and would do her best to solve the problem. By late afternoon, the decision was made that I would need to spend the night, and she took care of all of that to - including taking me upstairs. All but one of the staff at the hospital that I encountered seemed like they cared about their job, but Bailey stood out above the rest. My thanks to her for making a hard situation better. I appreciate her very much!
