Bailey Dunn, RN

Bailey Dunn is on the Transplant Coordinator Team for my mother at UW Montlake. Because of the many doctors on the team, sometimes messages and communications can get a little mixed up. Bailey never once lost patience with my mother, helping her to understand the decisions made by the doctors, sometimes multiple times, and would also ask clarifying questions back to the team when appropriate. Transplants must be some of the most stressful surgeries to undergo; everything can turn on a moment's notice, and sometimes things are very disappointing and frustrating. Bailey always, always responded in a way that was compassionate, empathetic, and always made my mother feel like Bailey really cared for her, and wanted my mother to understand. We will be forever grateful for the care that Bailey gave my mother, and continues to, on her journey of recovery.
