Mayo Clinic Hospital should be commended in my opinion for their outstanding choice of nurses who assist the patients that are admitted to their hospital and clinic in Arizona! I was a patient two times at the hospital, and I recognize an outstanding, caring, personable, and excellent nurse in the person of Baillie Statler. She has been one of the most efficient nurses on my care team. Whenever I called, she was answering my button as soon as she could and as fast as she could. She has helped me with my emergency calls to the bathroom, helped order my food, assisted with my walking and bathing needs, need for extra warm blankets (as I was always cold!), cleared places for my food trays, and cleared them so I could be free of them while sitting. Baillie was always asking me if there was anything I needed whenever I didn't call her and when she had a spare moment from her other patients. I really appreciate all the assistance, compassion, and attention to detail concerning my medicines, care, and delivery, and all the pleasant times she made my stay at the Mayo Clinic Hospital. Baillie is definitely an exceptional, kind nurse, and Mayo Hospital should feel lucky to have her!
