I want to recommend Bal for his outstanding nursing skills and his outstanding character. His presence made it easier for our family to tolerate the ups and downs of my Sister’s extended stay in the hospital. He was knowledgeable, cheerful, patient, efficient, and compassionate. Whatever questions we had or whatever we asked for when Bal was on duty, he would take care of it immediately and with no hesitation. If he didn’t know something he would find out. His instructional skills were done at the drop of a hat.

One day when I visited my Sister, I asked Bal to show me how to do a complicated procedure- how to care for my Sister now that she had a PEG. He took his time and explained each to me and my Sister each detail. We both felt a little more confident that we might be able to handle it. A few days later I needed him to go over it again. And he instructed both me and my Sister again with kindness and patience. He wanted us to really get to know how it is done. We have been through a lot here. Bal is an anchor on this CTSD Unit holding it together while casually being excellent.
