Since my diagnosis in 2019, Bally has been by my side throughout my treatment. This included surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. Bally also supports me during consultant appointments and is always at the end of the phone. A cancer diagnosis is a really scary position to find yourself in. When you want to protect those who love you, you need a sounding board that makes you feel they have all the time in the world for you. You cannot underestimate how important that is. Seeing the impact of my diagnosis on those who love me is heartbreaking. Bally is the one person I can talk to about my fears, always reassuring me, we are doing this together and I am not alone. No words will ever describe how important that is.
