Today Ms. Barbara was phenomenal!
When I was admitted from the ER, she met me in my room with a huge smile. As she set my IV up, she thoroughly explained what I was being given and what each medication was for. Furthermore, we instantly clicked, from making jokes to lighten the mood to just talking about my family with my fiancé and me.
Every interaction has come with giggles and grins. Any questions I have had have been met with an immediate answer. If not, one is given on her next rounds. She is always checking on my fiancé to make sure she is as comfortable as I am in the room. Ms. Barbara has connected emotionally to us over plenty of topics, including children, family, and sickness. Every visit from her is a light to my day! I think that Ms. Barbara has shown excellent professionalism and clearly exemplifies HCA’s values and ethics.
