My son was in the NICU for more than two months. It was a very scary and at times overwhelming but Barb was like an angel to us and our son. She took her time to make sure we knew everything that was being done to our little boy – every test, every procedure, everything. She really kept us informed. She would also take the time to answer not only my questions but all of my family’s questions as well. If she didn’t know the answer to a question, she always found out the answers and got back in touch with us. When she was working, she would make sure to work with him so he had consistency and a familiar face near him. We never had to worry about missing a test, or not being informed with Barb taking care of our son. When we were scared, she made sure she was there. She has touched our hearts and really truly made things easier for us. Without her, we would have been a wreck and she was like the glue helping to hold it all together through such a rough time.
