We both had a 4 patient assignment on this day and one of my patients was an AND and the family decided he needed to be terminally weaned off continuous BiPAP and let rest in peace. My day was consumed by this patient and the family. Barb was amazing and helped pass meds and draw blood on my other three patients while managing her own workload. Without her help, I would not have made it through the day. Her selflessness and willingness to help at the drop of a hat are greatly appreciated. I enjoy working side by side with her. She is an amazing nurse and coworker.
