Barbara Kozlowski is a deserving recipient of the DAISY Award because of her calm manner. She sat with my husband and me when he had a cardiac scare. She explained what was happening, what meds she was giving. The other nurses were great but she knew just what to say. She is knowledgeable about the heart conditions and the effects of medicines. When my husband developed a reaction to nitroglycerin, she was very reassuring. She had a profound positive effect on us!
