I was admitted for chest pain to COU. Being a current RN, I had high expectations of the nurse who would be taking care of me. Barbie exceeded all my expectations. She was compassionate and made a very scary moment better. She advocated for me, by making sure that all my tests were on time and all my results were known by my doctors. She made sure I was home in time to see my children before they went to sleep. Looking at her that day, you wouldn't know that she wasn't on her home unit. She was actually floating! I am so proud to have been Barbie's patient. She went out of her way for me and made a difference for me on a terrible day. Thanks for all that you do!
