We had a situation where a patient's transportation home after an appointment was delayed. Barb stepped right in and made sure he had some lunch and helped him walk to stretch his legs after waiting in a chair and was stiff. Barb went above and beyond to make sure this patient was taken care of in a situation that was out of our control. With this, she shows the mission of our hospital of taking care of and putting our patients at the center of the care. She always is the first to step up with anything a patient needs.
