Barbara Masters went above and beyond for patient advocacy. A patient on our unit was struggling to find placement, help getting into, and information on an outpatient program. This patient shared this with me during group, two other patients stated how hard this patient was working and the phone calls she was making. I spoke with Barbara and she immediately made a phone call to the Center for Prevention on the patient's behalf. Barbara was able to obtain an appointment on the date of discharge for this patient. Barbara often does things for patients that are above and beyond. This patient had tears in her eyes when she heard that Barbara had placement for her. We love and enjoy working with Barbara.
