Barbara has recently been promoted from Clinical Nurse Educator to Manager of Professional Development. She attends staff and unit-based council meetings to collaborate and provide support for ongoing and future unit-based projects while supporting and encouraging professional development for all staff members.
When Barbara is approached about new educational requests or hospital initiatives, she always has a can-do attitude and does whatever she can to make it happen. She does this with a positive attitude in order to promote positive patient outcomes, promote and encourage professional development for associates, and lead by example to help associates have enthusiasm for their work environment.
