Barbara Pevahouse does an extraordinary job in the infusion room. Even under these intense circumstances her calm, professional demeanor and attention to each patient's needs make the process pleasant. She draws out the best in each patient. She helped me through very debilitating mouth sores, hospitalizations, weight loss and other side effects. Barbara makes a concerted effort to bring comfort to all the patients in the infusion room and that is remarkable. Even when she wasn't my attending nurse she came to check in on me and me feel cared for. Barbara is tireless and dedicated, beyond that she has a way of talking to patients and making them feel empowered to heal. She makes me forget my worries and focus on feeling better.
