Dr. Medvec offers herself as an authentic colleague with years of leadership, innovation, and executive practice that is relevant to graduate students who are working to balance work, family, and education all at the same time. She opens access to herself and her courses through open office hours weekly, live synchronous sessions, email, and text messaging using her mobile phone number that she shares with everyone very openly. Dr. Medvec has been overwhelmingly and unselfishly generous with her time, especially in moments when you just need that "ear" to help listen.
