Dr. Roces is my role model of professional nursing. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Roces. Everyday I come to class, I am so excited to learn from her. I truly believe that she prepares me in every class to be the nurse I have always dreamed of and to one day be the best nurse practitioner that she is! Every day, she comes to class with enthusiasm for teaching. The way she teaches inspires and motivates me to be the best nurse possible and inspires me to be a nurse practitioner just like her one day. If there were one nurse I could choose to follow in their footsteps, it would be Dr. Roces. She has an interest in and respect for all of my classmates and is extremely professional. She is fair and unbiased in her treatment of individual students. This is why I love coming to her class every week. To describe Dr. Roces, she is caring to her students, holds herself with confidence, shows patience when I have questions and answers my questions with no rush, she has extraordinary interpersonal skills, she has integrity, and flexibility that facilitate my learning and the classes learning. If anyone deserves this award, it would be Dr. Roces.
