Barinder Singh, RN

I wanted to send a message to express our appreciation and gratitude for the excellent care provided by your EP department. My husband had several experiences there, 2 cardioversions and then an ablation procedure in September. The staff there is excellent, efficient, knowledgeable, and compassionate. There is one staff member there that in my opinion is probably one of the best I've ever encountered in AHN through many hospitalizations with my mother and now with my husband. Her name is Barinder Singh and if anyone ever needs the definition of a patient advocate you need to look no further than her.

My husband's last 2 admissions were made so much better through her care. The first admission was for a cardioversion then a Tikosyn trial. I'm sure you can imagine how anxious my healthy husband who has suddenly developed a heart condition was. The hospital was very full, telemetry beds were limited and we were given a room assignment on a medical-surgical floor. On our arrival, there was much confusion, and it was not an ideal site so Barinder took us back to the EP lab until a more appropriate bed opened up. This act alone made the three-day hospitalization so much better. I know if he had been left on the original floor it would have been an extremely challenging three days.

When he had his ablation we were so relieved to see she was working. So grateful for how skilled yet compassionate she was. He had a slight complication causing him to stay much longer into the evening. She made him feel like he was the most important patient in the world and called the next morning to check in on how his night went. Her work ethic shines, and AHN is so fortunate to have her as an employee.
