We arrived after 10 pm. My 79-year-old father was struggling to breathe and was in severe pain upon arrival. Basem really listened to me (his daughter) and Dad and explained the reason for treatment. He displayed extreme empathy and compassion and was deliberate in his efforts to be culturally sensitive and gentle with my Dad. Basem really partnered with my father to provide a treatment plan and was able to communicate and verbalize instructions for the patient’s plan of care. He had an ultimate bedside manner that any hospital should be proud to have as an employee. Basem presented Caldwell and the staff well. His professionalism was paramount! Job well done! Thank you!
