My mother was admitted to Bryn Mawr as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage. After placing her on hospice, one of the first nurses I met was Basil. The way he took care of her and answered all of my concerns and questions was comforting in a difficult time. On the day of my mother's final hours, I arrived at the hospital to find Basil already with my mom. I was greatly relieved. In her final moments, he saw that I was becoming emotional. He sat quietly in the room with me and patiently listened as I reminisced about my mother. He is a credit to your nursing staff and hospital.
