Batoul has a heart of gold. She hooks me up with the best fruit cocktail drinks ever and that was one of the first things I had after a Cherry Coke, of course, when I was finally allowed to drink. I was severely burned and it felt like she had been burned in her life before. She had it, she knew exactly what to say and what to do and she, in turn, knew more than any other nurse there. When it came down to just needing a hug. It is hard to hug someone with burns on their body but she gave me a hug and it really settled my soul and for that, I am so thankful. I couldn't have been happier to have someone wrap their arms around me and love me for just a second.
