Bayan accompanied my daughter on a short tour inside the unit; she talked to my daughter and gave her hope and good psychological support.
When my daughter was admitted to the Medical Unit at King Hussein Cancer Center, Bayan was her primary nurse. My daughter developed oral mucositis and difficulty swallowing as a side effect of post-chemotherapy treatment. During her stay in the hospital, she became angry and uncooperative. Nurse Bayan has a wonderful personality, compassion and is an excellent listener to her patients. She was serving them with a big smile, kindness, and great humanity. Going through a difficult time, Bayan was there not only to be a great nurse but to meet my daughter's emotional needs.

One of the moments that will stay in my memory is when Bayan accompanied my daughter on a short tour inside the unit; she talked to my daughter and gave her hope and good psychological support. The positive words made all the difference. The day after, Bayan brought her laptop, sat, and watched the movie "The Pursuit of Happiness” with my daughter.

The positive impact of Bayan's extraordinary care is noticeable. My daughter followed the medical instructions and became cooperative with all healthcare team members. She was committed to eating her food and taking her medications on time. We are lucky enough to have a nurse like Bayan during our stay, making my daughter recover faster.

During our stay in the hospital, we had many outstanding nurses, but Bayan exemplifies what a caring and compassionate nurse is. She went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I were comfortable and satisfied. She indeed was a gift that my daughter and I needed at this time. I felt that Bayan really deserves recognition because of her dedication, compassion, and holistic care for her patients.
