A day doesn't go by without Bayda thinking about patient care and ways to improve patient safety in the Endoscopy Unit. She constantly thinks of ways to improve our day-to-day workflow to help ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. If Bayda notices something isn't quite right or that a practice is not evidence-based she will help to correct it by writing a suggestion on the board or discussing it in huddle!

She is an amazing and efficient nurse always prepared for the critical situations that we often face in our department during the day or while on call in the middle of the night with limited resources and staff. She is always willing to share her valuable experiences with newer nurses on the unit so they can be as prepared as possible!

She is recently a certified RN, a willing preceptor, an active member on our governing council, and our biggest cheerleader in times of celebration and loss. As procedure nurses, we aren't always given the opportunities to positively impact our patients in ways they can remember (they're asleep) and then share with others how we've helped them. But there is no doubt Bayda is one of the greatest advocates our patients have on their side and is surely one that I proudly call a mentor and a friend! Thank you!
