My son was admitted to the ICU Burn Trauma Unit with a 3rd-degree burn on his arm and torso from an accident that happened at home. We were in the ICU for 20 straight days, and he had two surgeries while we were there for skin grafts. Beata was an absolute angel; she was there whenever I or my son needed her. She went out of her way just to come into the room and talk to me and ask me how I was doing and if I needed to take a break. Beata showed the utmost respect and dignity to me and my son. Beata laughed with us, cried with us, and made us feel at home when this tragedy happened. She held my hand when all the scary things were happening. She showed me how to take care of my son once we were discharged and ready to leave the hospital, and she even took care of him in hydrotherapy. I cannot express how grateful I and my family are for her.
