Beatrice takes on projects to improve unit efficiency, teaches others, and helps with Epic system navigation, making the department run more smoothly.

Recently, one patient even wrote to commend her profound impact during one of the most paramount times in a new mother’s life. She wrote, “Beatrice was our nurse for two nights in a row when our baby was due to deliver. She was extremely attentive to details and checked on us constantly throughout the night to make sure we were doing well. She adjusted the birthing position as necessary to keep mom and baby safe. When it came time to deliver the baby, Beatrice was there holding hands with Mom and helping her push to get the baby out. She was so good at being a strong supporter, using words of positive affirmation through each push.
