Beatriz serves as the Diabetes liaison and educates patient, families and staff regarding new trends. She spent time educating a particular patient for 2 days to make sure he knew how to take care of himself even though the patient was not assigned to her. Another patient who had no family was visited by Bea on her day off when she brought clothes and food for him.
