Compassionate. Genuine. Competent. Patient Advocate. Knowledgeable. Empathetic. Professional. These are only a few words that come to mind when speaking about Rebecca Syens. She has shown my three-year-old daughter so much kindness and patience, we will forever be grateful for her. From the very beginning of this journey, she was so positive and caring you couldn't help but feel comfortable spilling all your emotions on her. And, she listened with patience and grace. When we brought more holistic practices into the mix of our daughter's care Becca never once made us feel foolish or bothersome. She was always open and such an amazing patient/family advocate. I have learned a lot from Becca and will absolutely carry that with me in my practice. God put her in our path for a reason, and we're so grateful he did. Becca truly exemplifies what nursing is all about. Not only are her patients lucky to have her, but Children's Wisconsin is extremely lucky to have her as well.
