Beckie always has a bright and energetic smile on her face. She is constantly looking for the better in every situation and no matter what is thrown her way she will tell you that she is right where she is supposed to be for that shift. She has such a positive mindset and wants what is best for the patient. She really does put the patient first in everything she does. Beckie goes above and beyond every single day to care for the patient in front of her. Her dedicated passion truly shows how much she loves her job. There are countless times that her actions have shown patients that she is here for them, but one recently stuck out to me. There was a patient who needed coverage on her Xarelto and Beckie was the nurse working with her. Beckie called the insurance company for the patient and realized they had transition to another company name and that the patient needed to complete a form through their website to decrease the cost. Beckie immediately contacted the new company and went to their website to fill out the required form with the patient. Beckie also filled out the provider's form so all that was left on both forms was the signature. Beckie made multiple calls to the company to ensure the forms were received and also made multiple contacts with the patient to keep her informed. The patient did not have a working phone so would stop into the clinic and Beckie would take time out of her day to check the process of the approval with the patient and would provide reassurance to the patient that her medication was coming and approved. Beckie is the type of nurse that you hope to take care of you one day!
