We recently had a patient who was on our unit fairly regularly due to her declining health status. Her preacher was visiting one day when the patient was not feeling well and mentioned to Becky that the patient's favorite song was Amazing Grace. Becky decided to sing this song with the patient to try and comfort her. The patient passed away later that hospital stay. This act of kindness meant so much to the family that it was mentioned during her funeral service. We are so thankful for nurses like Becky who show God's love through her actions.
