We had a patient who was having a birthday. The patient was a 47-year-old special needs patient who was upset and down because it was her birthday and she was in the hospital. Becky Ellis had the patient that day and wanted to do something to lift her spirits. Becky went out of her way to get a bunch of balloons blown up for the patient. She also got dietary to send up a cupcake for the patient and gathered staff together to sing to the patient. Thanks, Becky for going out of your way on a busy day to help brighten this patient's day and making her feel special on her big day. This is a perfect example of the compassion Becky shows to her patients on a daily basis.
