Becky Erpelding is the prime example of an Excellent Nurse. Becky is the most attentive, watchful, compassionate, detail-oriented RN. She is always attending to her patients, talking with them, fluffing pillows, or walking them. She always has her eye on the monitors. She leaves nothing undone.

Becky had a patient who had been here for many many days (Not COVID) and he was so tired of being in his room and restless. She got a wheelchair and took him to the Solarium. He loved it and was grateful.

If she is not with her own patients, she is very aware and mindful of the other rooms and will always help her co-workers with whatever they need. Becky jumps right in to help with any situation and she is very perceptive and is always available to run for supplies, blood, or meds. She rarely stops for lunch or breaks and will answer call lights without hesitation. Becky always volunteers to take patients when they come to ICU. I can ask her questions and she will answer them whether she is busy or not. You will never hear her be angry or upset with her co-workers or patients.

I am very grateful to work with her and glad she is an ICU nurse. If you have to be here, she is the nurse you want to take care of you. Becky is the best.
