Becky and I had the opportunity to work together with a patient who was having a lot of difficulty carrying over the skills he was learning during Rehab Therapy to his daily activities back on the unit. After we practiced the skills together, Becky took the initiative to set up a schedule for the patient and pass on what she had learned to the rest of the nursing staff. Becky advocated for the patient and his family to positively impact his care.
