Becky Fox, RN has put countless time as well as emotional and physical capital into ensuring that our client-facing associates understand Cerner’s key messages and differentiators in healthcare. Becky helps articulate the “why” behind what we do. Sacrificing her own personal time, equipment and sleep, Becky spearheaded the creation of key messaging, videos and associate training for the 2012 Client Org Kickoff in April, then more recently at the 2012 Client org Town Hall following CHC. All of these took a great deal of time and effort including coordinating dozens of associates to come together and walk away excited and motivated with a clear message. The videos and skits Becky helped create and edit were a huge hit with the Client Org associates to help create a fun atmosphere and yet drive home key points about how we message and communicate with our most important asset- our clients! Her attention to detail and desire for associates to grasp the key concepts, but most importantly, move into action- drive Becky to give her absolute best and inspire those around her to do the same.
All of the efforts just described are in addition to Becky’s primary role of helping Cerner win key Client Development business by working closely with clients and associates in a clinically-focused, consultative manner. Becky is thoughtful, innovative, collaborative and extremely creative in building the “playbook” and key messaging for our associates to absorb and use effectively- whether that is for a single demonstration or for a large corporate meeting. She truly believes in the power that information technology and content can have upon clinical practice and this shows in her tireless dedication to making these key internal and external events run smoothly. It is a privilege to have worked with Becky in these endeavors and an honor to have the opportunity to nominate her for this award.
