...We had an elderly patient in Radiology (Nuclear Medicine) that was having a nuclear stress test. On this particular day, it started snowing outside and the excitement was felt in our department. The patient commented on how she would like to see the snow one last time. Two nurses, Becky Hales and Connie Rogers, bundled up the patient with warm blankets and together rolled the patient down the back hallway so she could see the snow. The patient was so happy to be able to watch the snow for a few minutes. The joy on the patient's face is forever etched in our hearts. Sadly, this patient died a few days later.

As I look back on this day, I realize that Becky and Connie were able to give this patient one last wish, and what a difference it made, not just to the patient but to me.
