My 5-year-old little boy had to have an MRI. If it was not for Becky being with me, I probably would have had a nervous breakdown. She was with us because my son had to be sedated and needed to be monitored. Her being with me and him meant a lot. I know it's her job but to me it did not feel like that at all. It was like having my best friend with me the whole time. I have worked at the hospital for 15 years. I feel like I meet someone new every day. Having Becky at IVCH is an asset. The compassion, caring and respect was... I can't even put into words! She was awesome and I can never thank her enough for being with my son and me. Whether it was her job or not.
So for that day, thank you for being what I needed, a rock! You are very good at what you do and you make a difference in people's lives. And that day you made a difference in mine. Thank you, Becky, I cannot say it enough. I feel if I was an employee or not she would have been the same way with anybody else. Again, this was our first interaction with each other and she was there for my son. I am thankful that she was, because in my eyes, she was more there for me! She kept me calm and kept me from losing control and I will always be grateful to her for being my rock when I needed one.
