Becky Wolsefer, RN on the 6 Tower Surgical/Oncology Unit, was honored with a DAISY Award from three DAISY nominations received this month!
The first patient shared, “Becky has been a wonderful nurse to me. She has shown much kindness and concern at all times. I feel she is a great asset to this hospital and deserves much recognition for all her good works.”
A patient’s daughter said, “Becky is taking awesome care of my mother. She comes in frequently to check my mother’s pain. She’s always very friendly and personable. I am comfortable leaving her in my mother’s care. I can tell that she loves her job and it shows through how she treats her patients. I can’t be more happy with her being here through such a difficult time.”
Another patient said, “I would like to nominate my nurse, Becky Wolsefer, for the DAISY Award because she made my stay here at St. John a wonderful experience. I was operated on both my legs at the same time and I was in a lot of pain. I was cranky and did not want to be here. Becky was so kind and patient with me. She always had a smile on her face and treated me like a queen. Please consider her for this award. She deserves the award because of her empathy for people.”
