To start, Belica is one of the most amazing vascular nurses. She takes her time coordinating surgeries and working closely with several providers, working with Vai Data entry for vascular, and also working with the limb salvage program. She walks patients step by step before amputation surgery, explaining what the surgery will consist of and aftercare for being an amputee. Belica cherishes the relationships with her patients and with the staff. In order to proceed with surgery for patients, she needs to make sure cases are booked properly, accordingly, and also with pre-anesthesia to make sure patients' rides to surgery and recovery are smooth and not stressful. Belica will go above and beyond for anyone who needs help or assistance. She has truly changed the vascular surgery team for the better. She has brought joy to all attendings and staff and has brought tremendous productivity for vascular. She is truly one of a kind and deserves this award and more.
