This past week my dad was admitted to the hospital for a femur fracture and was put on 7 Northwest. Belinda DiPirro was one of his nurses and I just have to say that the interactions my dad and my family had with her were nothing but exceptional. From her friendly, outgoing personality to the quality of care that he received was outstanding. She always greeted my dad and our family with a friendly smile and always took her time to explain what she was doing and took the time to just be a human being and spent time with my dad getting to know him and us as a family. Being in healthcare myself for the past 26 years, I fully understand the time constraints the nursing staff has on them but never once did she ever rush his care nor lack compassion for my dad. I could go on and on about her but truly feel that she is what we need at Guthrie.
